Ο Marcus και η Bärbl είναι οι γονείς και βασιλιάδες του Boogie Woogie. Έχουν διδάξει μαθήματα και σεμινάρια τόσο boogie Woogie όσο και των άλλων Swing χορών (Lindy Hop, Balboa, shag, Charleston,Jitterbug, Hollywood Style κ.ά.)σε περισσότερες από 15 χώρες σε όλο τον κόσμο. Το 1996 και το 1997, τους δόθηκε το διακριτικό βραβείο Feather και το Διεθνές Βραβείο Δασκάλων Χορού το 2002. Μεταξύ των πολλών τίτλων τους στο διαγωνιστικό χώρο είναι: Παγκόσμιοι Πρωταθλητές, τρεις φορές World Vice Champions, US Open Champions and Rock ‘n’ Socks Marathon. Επίσης, είναι οι διοργανωτές του Παγκοσμίου περίφημο Rock That Swing Festival στο Μόναχο της Γερμανίας.

 

Marcus & Bärbl are the parents and kings of Boogie Woogie. They have been teaching classes and workshops not only in Boogie Woogie but also in the other swing dancing styles (Lindy Hop, Balboa, shag, Charleston,Jitterbug, Hollywood Style etc )in more than 15 countries all over the world. They were given the prestigious Feather Award in 1996 and 1997, and the International Dance Teacher Award in 2002. Among their many competition titles are: World Champions, three times World Vice Champions, US Open Champions and Rock n Socks Marathon Champions. They are also the organizers of the World famous Rock That Swing Festival in Munich, Germany.

 

Ο Sondre Olsen-Bye και η Tanya Georgiievska έχουν μόνο ένα έτος που χορεύουν μαζί και κέρδισαν ήδη το χάλκινο μετάλλιο στο Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα Boogie Woogie 2016.

Και οι δύο άρχισαν να χορεύουν στην πρώιμη παιδική ηλικία και πέρασαν από πολλούς διαγωνισμούς χορού, παραστάσεις και διδασκαλία του χορού με άλλους χορευτές. Ο Sondre αναδείχτηκε πρωταθλητής Boogie Woogie στην Κατηγορία Νέων το 2011 (Στουτγάρδη, Γερμανία) και η Tanya κέρδισε τέσσερα Παγκόσμια Κύπελλα στην κύρια κατηγορία του Master of Sports το 2014.
 
Δεν  ήταν παρά τον Αύγουστο 2015, που ο Sondre και η Tanya ξεκίνησαν ως ζευγάρι χορού στο SwingAout Festival του LaRoquebrou της Γαλλίας. Από τότε, κύλησαν σαν μια χιονόμπαλα με πολλά εξάσκηση και εμφανίσεις, ταξιδεύοντας για διαγωνισμούς και διδασκαλία.
 
Μόλις ένα χρόνο μαζί, αλλά ήδη έχουν:
* Τρίτη θέση στη λίστα της WRRC Boogie Woogie
* Χάλκινο μετάλλιο στο Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα Boogie Woogie 2016
* Εμφανίσεις και διδασκαλία Boogie Woogie, Lindy Hop και Solo Jazz σε περισσότερες από 20 διαφορετικές χώρες και μουσικά φεστιβάλ στην Ετρώπη και τον Καναδά, όπως το Rock that Swing, το International Boogie Woogie festival (by Silvan Zingg), το Boogiefezst (by Balazs Daniel), το SwingAout, το Jump and Dance κ.ά.

 

Sondre

Sondre Olsen-Bye and Tanya Georgiievska have just one year of partnership together, but already taking Bronze Medal from the Boogie Woogie World Championship 2016.

 

Both started dancing in the early childhood and went through many dance competitions, performances and dance teaching with other partners. Sondre got Champion title in Boogie Woogie Junior Class in 2011 (Stuttgart, Germany) and Tanya won four World Cups in Main Class getting Master of Sports in 2014.

 

It was not until August 2015 when Sondre and Tanya tried themselves as a dance couple at SwingAout Festival (LaRoquebrou, France). Since then it rolled on like a snowball with lots of practicing, performing, travelling around for competitions and teaching.

 

Only one year together, but they already have:

* Third position in the WRRC Boogie Woogie Rank list

* Bronze medal on the Boogie Woogie World Championship 2016

* Performing and teaching Boogie Woogie, Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz at more than 20 different dance and music festivals, such as

Rock that Swing, International Boogie Woogie festival (by Silvan Zingg), Boogiefezst (by Balazs Daniel), SwingAout, Jump and Dance etc in Europe and Canada.

 

 

Ο Thorbjørn κατάγεται από τη Νορβηγία. Στην ηλικία των 15, ανακάλυψε τον κόσμο του Swing χορού κι αμέσως γαντζώθηκε σε αυτό τον υπέροχο χορευτικό κόσμο. Το πάθος του ήταν πάντα ο διαγωνιστικός χορός κι άρχισε να διαγωνίζεται την ίδια χρονιά που έκανε τα πρώτα του χορευτικά βήματα. Σήμερα, ο Thorbjørn διδάσκει σε όλο τον κόσμο στα περισσότερα μεγάλα χορευτικά γεγονότα, με ειδικότητά του το Boogie Woogie. Σε όλη την καριέρα του, έχει επιτύχει μια σειρά από τίτλους, όντας αυτή τη στιγμή ο πιο βραβευμένος χορευτής boogie woogie στην ιστορία. Στο χαρτοφυλάκιο του, μπορείτε να βρείτε:

Η Flora Bouchereau κατάγεται από τη Γαλλία. Χορεύει από 10 ετών, με ενεργή δραστηριοποίηση από τα 14 της. Ξεκίνησε την καριέρα της ως Acrobatic Rock `n` Roll χορεύτρια και μετά από μερικά χρόνια άρχισε να διαγωνίζεται στο Boogie Woogie. Το 2012, έλαβε μέρος στον πρώτο διεθνή διαγωνισμό της και αμέσως έγινε μέρος των τελικών, τερματίζοντας στο 4ο βάθρο. Κατά τη διάρκεια του 2013, έχει ταξινομηθεί 3η στην παγκόσμια κατάταξη και σήμερα είναι σε πρωταθλήτρια Ελβετίας για δύο συνεχόμενα έτη.

Από τότε ως σήμερα, έχουν κερδίσει μαζί πολλούς ακόμη τοπικούς και παγκόσμιους τίτλους και πλέον ασχολούνται ενεργά και με το lindy hop.

At the age of 15 Thorbjørn discovered the world of Swing Dancing, and he became immediately hooked in this wonderful world of dancing. His passion has always been competition dancing, and he started competing the very same year he took his first dancesteps. Today Thorbjørn teaches all around the world on most of the big events with Boogie Woogie as his speciality. Throughout his carreer he have achieved a number of titles, and is at this moment the most-winning boogie dancer in history. In his portfolio you can find:

*4 world champion titles
*3 european champion titles
*12 norwegian champion boogie + 2 times norwegian champion titles
*6 times nordic champion

Flora Bouchereau has been dancing since she was 10 years old, actively competing (since the age of 14). She started her dancing career as a Rock`n`Roll dancer and after a couple of years she started competing in the Boogie Woogie scene. She did her first international competition in 2012, and became immediately a part of the finals, finishing on the podium in her 4th competition.  During the year 2013 she have been ranked as no.3 on the world ranking list and is currently Swiss champion two years running.

Until today, they have won together many more national and international titles and they have also actively engaged into lindy hop dancing.
